-according to all my research this model wasn't introduced until 1956
-this one is a 1955 with a "W" batch number - this model was first introduced in 1954 and called Southern Jumbo Natural (SJN) for 1954 and 1955 - this must be one of the very first to receive the Country Western label
-multi bound Sitka spruce top with scalloped bracing and small maple bridge plate
-mahogany back and sides
-mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard
-original frets and nut
-original "no line" Kluson tuners
-original Brazilian rosewood bridge with new compensated bone saddle
-there is a repaired back crack near the waist and re-glued corresponding brace in same location
-the top has a couple of minor retired cracks near the waist on either side
-the set up is excellent with original neck set
-the sound is fantastic
