1960/61 Gibson Les Paul

- 1960 specs with longer pick guard, 1960 neck joint and control cavity dimensions, blank truss rod cover, 43rd week of 1960 pot codes, and "Cali Girl" brown and pink case

-original solder joints and PAF pickups, the same as the 1960 Les Paul burst with shorter magnets 

-this guitar shipped while 1960 Bursts were being shipped

-early 4 digit serial number

-the second owner bought the guitar in London, Ontario in 1967 - he added the decal to the case at that time - the name of the store, Chapman and Hewett is on a sticker on the underside of the tailpiece cover - there is a picture of that store provided

-the guitar had Grovers installed at some point which caused a headstock wing separation along the seam - this was professionally repaired and it now has Kluson "Double Line" tuners with double ring tulip knobs - of course they should be "Single Line" but they are hard to locate and these work well and match the foot prints left by the originals

-there are no cracks or finish issues

-all original except the tuners

- the original case is in great shape
